McCulla Ireland has been repeatedly recognised at various awards events over the years, demonstrating our long-term commitment to quality service provision and innovation in our business practices.
As well as general business awards, we have been acknowledgement at several transport, logistics and warehousing events, both locally and across the UK and Ireland.
Awards have recognised our achievements in our specialist sector of temperature-controlled logistics and storage, as well as the wider transport industry; and we have had particular success in demonstrating our environmental commitment. Other awards have credited us as an entrepreneurial family business.
Being established in 1969 by David McCulla, we celebrated our fiftieth anniversary in 2019. Under the current Directorship, the business has been differentiated from standard refrigerated haulage into a full-service logistics provider of bespoke solutions for customers of all sizes, including delivery by the box, pallet, or full load; and we have diversified into producing our own energy under our Alternity Biogas Energy business.
Continual and significant investment over the last 25+ years has centred on facilities and equipment at sites in Lisburn, Dublin and Mallusk; technology integration; customer service initiatives and staff development.
McCulla Ireland serves the UK, all of Ireland and the rest of continental Europe, with an infrastructure that uses only our own fleet and drivers at all times, meaning we have full control over the entire supply chain at all times. This accountability, coupled with our ability to offer a high level of flexibility to customers, both in terms of the facilities available and in capacity or volume of work, has set us apart and has been the basis of our many successes in recent years.
